When are classes? Our class schedule is always changing. Visit our Calendar Page to see our upcoming class schedule.

What is your class cancellation policy? Palmetto Kids Cooking, LLC reserves the right to cancel classes within 12 hours of scheduled class if we do not have our minimum number of students registered.We will not offer any refunds and/or credits to a cancellation of any on our sold out classes.

Registrants have the right to cancel their classes up to 72 hours prior to a scheduled class.  If canceling after that deadline, Palmetto Kids Cooking, LLC reserves the right to charge in full for that class.  No refunds will be issued due to illness or missed classes. There will be a $25.00 (plus credit card convenience fee of 3%) rescheduling or cancellation fee applied to the credit card we have on file at booking.

Is this a demonstration class? No way! We are all about hands-on cooking with of course some demonstration and instruction included.

Do you serve drinks at class? We ask no outside food or drink be brought in. We do offer water and fresh fruit flavored water.

What is the class size? Our class size varies. We have a minimum and a maximum allowance for each class.

Do you provide aprons? Yes, aprons are available for use in the class. Palmetto Kids Cooking Aprons are also available if you’d like to purchase one before or after class. Order here.

Do we get to eat what we make? Yes, that’s the best part of class!

How many types of parties do you offer?  We offer three party packages. Our Junior Chef Party Package is $299, Head Chef Party Package is $399, and Top Chef Party Package is $499. Compare all party packages here.

How long does that party last?  Our Junior Chef party lasts 2 hours and our Head Chef and Top Chef parties last 2.5 hours.  Please plan for our arrival 30 minutes prior to the event start time and an additional 30 minutes after the party for clean up.

How many guests are included? Each party package allows for 10 guests which includes the birthday child. We can accommodate up to 20 kids for a birthday party.  Our Junior Chef Party Packages is $10 for each additional guest and our Head Chef Part Package and Top Chef Party Package are both $15 for each additional guest .

Is the cake included? No, a cake is not included. We do include a Happy Birthday Cookie that is decorated by our guests.

Do you supply paper products? All birthday parties include plates, cups, utensils, napkins, and plastic table covers.

How far in advance should I book my party? We ask for a minimum of two weeks notice. All parties are based on Palmetto Kids Cooking, LCC availability.

Do you serve drinks at the party? We do offer water and fresh fruit flavored water.

Can you modify or customize a menu? Yes, but recipe must be approved by Palmetto Kids Cooking, LLC at least two weeks prior to the event. There will be a $49 charge for a custom menu.

Will all the kids at the party be involved in cooking? Yes. All guests included in the party will help cook and prepare their own meal.

Do we get to eat what we make? Yes, that’s the best part of class!

Will my child have time to open gifts at the party? Yes, depending on time, presents are opened at the end of the party.

How do you handle food allergies? We ask that any allergies be given two weeks prior to the party. Any requests made after two weeks cannot be guaranteed to be accommodated. There may be an additional charge for any gluten free requests.

What about kids under 3 years of at the party?

We welcome kids of all ages but due to safety concerns, kids 3 years and under are unable to participate but of course welcome to attend.

What ages is a PKC party for? We recommend that all guests be the same age or within one year of the guest of honor. All activities will be geared toward that age.

Do you require a deposit?  There is a 50% down payment due at the time of booking. Once payment is made, your date/time for your party will be secured. The deadline to make your final payment is one week before your party. Any accounts not paid in full by the due date will be cancelled and the 50% down payment forfeited.

Do parents stay or leave during the party?

We encourage the family of the birthday child to stay and enjoy the party, take photos, etc. The parents of the guests can be dropped off and picked up at the discretions and responsibility of the host.

What are the release forms for?

Palmetto Kids Cooking, LLC requires Child Medical/Allergy Waiver and Model Release forms for all participants for the safety of your children. It is very important we are made aware of all food allergies and contact information for parent/guardians in case of an emergency.

Is gratuity included/recommended?

Gratuity is always optional and never required. If your event host(ess) goes above and beyond and you would like to thank then, that would be welcomed.

How long is Camp Cook and Glow?

Our camp runs Monday-Friday for 3 hours per day, per session. Our AM session is from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM and our PM session is from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Do the kids eat what they make?

Yes! Campers will eat what they make and sample ingredients along the way.

Is there a daily fee for late pickup?

Yes. In order to keep to our agreement with our location, we must finish camp on time. If a student is late being picked up, there will be a $10.00 fee for every 10 minutes you are late. The fee must be paid before the start of the next class for the student to be able to participate.
